Meet The Doctors

"The doctors of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his
patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and the cause and
prevention of disease."

- Thomas A. Edison

Dr. David Dornfeld

Dr. David Dornfeld has been a practicing Family Medicine in New Jersey since 1986. After graduation from medical school, Dr. Dornfeld became board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He also has additional training in Travel Medicine, Emergency Medicine and has been certified by DAN (Divers Alert Network) in Diving Medicine. Throughout his medical career, he has been dedicated to diagnosing, treating and helping people by combining traditional with holistic medicine and natural therapies. Dr. Dornfeld's expertise in OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy) speeds his patient's recovery from most musculoskeletal ailments and makes them feel better.

In 1994 Dr. Dornfeld became Board certified by ACAM (the American College for the Advancement in Medicine). He continues to advance his knowledge and skills in alternative and traditional therapies, and tailors their use to the specific needs of each patient. This provides alternative and complimentary medicine to his patient's individual treatment requirements. These treatments include:
Chelation Therapy, Intravenous Vitamin Therapy, Natural Hormone Replacement, P-K Protocol, DAN! Protocols, Nutritional counseling and Evaluation and treatment of Neurotransmitter Dysfunction. Dr. Dornfeld became the 23rd physician in the World to pass his Board Examinations in Anti-Aging under the International Society of Anti-Aging and Longevity Medicine.

Dr. Dornfeld has received, and continues training in courses by DAN! - Defeat Autism Now. His desire for improving children and adults afflicted with Autism Spectrum Disorders, (i.e. Autism ADHD, ADD, Aspergers Syndrome) led him to incorporating Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy into his practice. HBOT has been shown to be of great benefit in many other neurological disorders as well. Family Wellness Center is an approved Provider by the International Hyperbaric Association.

In addition to his dynamic medical practice, Dr. Dornfeld is the School-Physician for over 3000 students at the Aberdeen- Matawan School district. He also is a Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine. He shares his experience and skills with medical students, who are invited to learn in his office. Among his favorite lessons for his students and patients is that the term "doctor" means "teacher". To this end he always tries to teach his patients proper eating habits, combined with proper exercise. This, plus reducing or correcting heavy metal and environmental pollutant accumulation, combine to help preserve his patient's ability to fight the aging process, while reducing their risks of developing cardiovascular problems or cancer.

When time permits, he enjoys scuba diving, under-water photography, snow and water-skiing.
